Telemedicine Ethics Guidelines
In June 2016, the American Medical Association published a report titled “Ethical Practice in Telemedicine” through its Council on Ethical and Judicial Affairs (CEJA). The report provided a set of guidelines to physicians engaging with patients through online technology, based on whether the physician is simply responding with “advice” or is providing actual clinical services through telemedicine.
In this free whitepaper, our Founder and Chief Medical Officer Mark P. Seraly, MD discusses:
- A review of the AMA telemedicine guidelines
- An analysis of the DermatologistOnCall® platform and alignment with these guidelines
- A summary of Iagnosis' Quality Measures program
